Krispy Kreme
Oh yeah, my K word for today is Krispy Kreme. Not just Krispy Kreme but the Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut, fresh off the belt! I love it warm, with the glaze just barely settled on the pastry. They just melt in your mouth. Yes, they are sweet but oh so good. I don't have a KK here in town or even very close for that matter. I suppose that's a very good thing. The only time I get them is when I head down to IN to visit my family. Actually, I get quite excited when I pass by there and see the "Hot Now" sign all lit up and calling my name. And an extra bonus...KK is right next door to a Chik-Fil-A, another favorite that I don't have close to me.
I think I need to plan a trip down to visit my family soon!

best 2 k words of the day! if not EVA!
ReplyDeletemake me hungry =)
happy k day!
Our nearest KK is 2 hours away, too. ;) Sure, you can get them in a box from the gas station, but it's not the same. I am grateful that KK and Cold Stone aren't anywhere near me. The temptation would be too great. ;)
ReplyDeleteKrispy Kreme's are THE BEST. My son likes it when I take him there. He can sit for an hour in front of that conveyor belt machine and watch how the doughnuts are made. Free entertainment.
ReplyDeleteI love Krispy Kreme and Chik-Fil-A - we had Chik-Fil-A last night. But now I feel like I need to go have a Krispy Kreme!
ReplyDeleteWith four blogs to fill today, I almost resorted to Krispy Kreme myself, but I managed without it. I worked in downtown Raleigh for a little while, right across the street from a KK. We didn't even need to see the 'hot and now' light to know when the fresh donuts were out, you could smell them from blocks away.
ReplyDeletePopping in by way of the A-Z Challenge. I’m blogging at:

Every Day Crochet
we don't have a local KK (or Chick-fil-A for that matter) either so I feel your pain. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I would DO for a Krispy Kreme place in Canada. OMG.. yes.. off the line they are heaven incarnate.
