Underwood as in Carrie. Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite singers. She has an awesome voice and seems so sweet. Anyone else a fan?
And yes...I am far behind again. Try to get caught up on this last day of the challenge.

T is for...Tennis!
Tennis is the ultimate sport in my opinion. I have followed the sport since the days of Chris Evert and John McEnroe. Did I just give away my age?? I would rather watch tennis than basketball and baseball. For me, it is much more exciting. For most people, they say tennis is boring. I beg to differ. I sit on the edge of my seat during an exciting match. My favorite player right now is Novak Djokovic. He has worked hard to become the awesome tennis player that he is today.
Anyone out there love tennis as much as I do?

S is for...Second Blog?
I have been contemplating starting another blog focusing on the road to good health. Not that I am an expert by any means, however I am going to start getting myself in better health or at least try. It will be a journey for sure. I like writing on health matters and even though I am far from being healthy at the moment, I am ready to really focus on all things healthy! Maybe it will help me to also be accountable to myself blogging about it and maybe even be an encouragement along the way.
It might be a while because I can't think of a unique title at the moment! I am so non-creative! Stay tuned!

R is for...Reliv
This was a no-brainer today for my R word. Has anyone ever heard of Reliv? I just have to put a plug-in for this awesome product. I have fibromyalgia and since I am refusing to take too many drugs to deal with it, I have been looking for other alternatives. I had tried this product quite a few years ago but I really didn't give it a chance. This time I was determined to see if this was something that was worth the money and time. I know that most people take their vitamins, fish oil and all of those supplements out there. But I have never felt a difference. This stuff, I feel the difference. It's amazing really.
Here is the thing, I struggle with exhaustion on my days off and of course the pain of fibro. I started noticing slight changes such as the fact that I wasn't nodding off when I first woke up in the morning. Or that I was getting more energy to do a few more things. That to me is a biggie. The last couple of weeks I have been battling a cold. I stopped drinking Reliv because I wasn't feeling well. I started noticing that I was back to being really tired when I first woke up and my days off...I basically got nothing at all done other than sitting in the chair feeling icky. Now this is not a miracle cure by any means. But it is logical. It is just basic nutrition in a balanced form, the way our bodies were meant to have to keep us healthy. Believe me, I researched alot to find something I truly think will help.
I always said that if I find something that will help to keep me off of those nasty drugs and help to relieve my symptoms, that I will shout it from the roof tops! I am a big believer in nutrition. Our bodies crave it and need it to function in its full capacity. I get it with Reliv. Wow, I sure didn't mean for this to turn into a speech! LOL I guess when I get excited about something, it shows.
If anyone out there has tried these products, let me know!

Q is for...Quaint
Wow, q is one of the hardest words to come up with. But I thought of quaint because I love to walk through quaint little towns equipped with those small town antique shops and those home town cafe's. I would love to just take a road trip and drive until I come upon them to check out. Has anyone ran upon any quaint towns that would be interesting?

P is for...Procrastination
Yes, even though I hate procrastination, I still somewhat suffer from it. Most people do in a way. Need to work on that!

O is for...Opinions
Everyone has an opinion. Isn't it funny how two people may watch the same show or read the same book and have way opposite opinions on the same thing? Some people are very opinionated while others keep their opinions to themselves. Which are you? I find that I am very opinionated but I pick and choose if, how and when to express them. I believe that there are times when it is good to state yours but other times it may be good just to shut up. Sometimes I read people's comments on articles and think, did they really have to say that?
Many people get blasted out of the water for having opinions or views that are very different than the majority. Take for instance the controversy surrounding Kirk Cameron and his views on homosexuality. He got hit pretty hard just for stating, not even in a mean way, how he lives his life and how he views that subject. He was very respectful but went against the grain so to speak. He got a lot of hate. I think respect goes a long way in how others are treated when they may have a different opinion than yours. It kind of makes you nervous about saying how you feel now days.
How do you deal with other people's opinions? Do you feel that two people can be civilized even when their opinions are different? I think a "healthy" debate is good...with respect, of course! Love goes a long way!
How's that for going deep today? LOL Yay, I think I am all caught up today, too! Have a great day!!

N is for...Nudity
Now that I have everyone's attention! LOL Seriously though, does anyone but me think that nudity is getting way out of control recently? Is it okay to pose nude just because you can? Is this how we base beauty on? How we look naked? I pose these questions because that is all I see lately. Celebs like Rihanna who think it's great to go topless on a beach or those that pose for a magazine just to prove a point. Whatever happened to modesty? I see girls with their boobs hanging out of their shirts all over the place. It's not pretty when you are at work and they bend down to sign something and you can see everything! I grew up with parents that taught modesty. You really don't have go naked to be beautiful. So, that is my rant for the day. Covering up brings some mystery and who doesn't love a good mystery?

M is for...MEOW!
Yes, meow. That is all I hear sometimes from my cats. Ribbon (pictured above...isn't she pretty?)...she can be so annoying! Right now she is meowing in the hallway. I start getting up from my chair and she stops and comes back. I sit back down and there she goes again! I have to admit, she drives me so crazy! Especially when she meows as she paws at the door. We stopped letting her in the rooms because one, she will get you up several times a night to get in and get back out. Two...she had a MAJOR accident all over our bed one time. Gross!! I love her dearly but man, does she make me mad. The other cat...he just whines for food constantly. If the bowl is half empty, he will let you know.
Now I know why most people are not cat people! hahaha

L is for...Lists!
I love lists. Can't help it. I list everything from the books that I have on my bookshelf that I need to read to all the things I need to get accomplished. I don't like computer lists, just good old fashioned paper and pen. Maybe I need to lists this blog as part of my to do list, ya think?? I am so far behind! Onward!

K is for...Kool-Aid!
Remember Kool- Aid? My question is...do they sell this anymore? We used to drink tons of the stuff when I was a kid. Just add water and away ya go. It was the drink of choice in the hot summer. Oh, and instead of lemonade stands, we always had Kool-Aid stands. I think I will check it out the next time I head to the store. Just curious

J is for...Just Sick!

I is for...Indiana
Yes, I am an original Hoosier. I spent Easter and a couple days after visiting with family. We even had the chance to visit with my beautiful niece and her big family from Virginia. 5 kids!! Four awesome boys and 1 gorgeous little girl. Unfortunately, I ended up coming down with a cold while I was there but it was a good time. In fact, I almost didn't want to leave. We even hit Chick-Fil-A, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Barnes and Noble! The 3 places we don't have here. I am ready to go back to good ole' Indiana! I live such an exciting life. :)

H is for...Husky
I love huskies. I think they are so beautiful and amazing. We were at a pet store today and saw a husky puppy. She was so sweet. If I had $800...yeah...hubby wouldn't have been too happy with me. Does anyone own a husky? I would love to see photos if you do! By the way, this photo is courtesy of dogbreedinfo.com. Gorgeous dog!

G is for...Goose
Sorry I am really behind right now as I was out of town for the weekend and just got back today. The internet wasn't working so well there so I will try to play catch up. Why did I pick a goose? Well, today as my daughter and I were driving around shopping this morning, we see this cute single goose just casually walking across a busy street. It didn't seem to have a worry in the world. Luckily there wasn't much traffic at the time so it made it across safely. Just thought it was funny since it was a busy shopping area. They are awesome creatures,

F is for...Food!
Food is my F word for today. Really, most people think about food all the time. What to cook for dinner, what to eat for lunch, food is everywhere! We have so many choices, too. Do I have fried food, fresh food, not-so-good-for-you food? Here are my absolute favorite things to eat. Warning!! The list may be long! :)
Cheesecake
Blueberries
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Peaches
Hash brown casserole
Cucumbers
Anything pastry! Bear Claw, scones, doughnuts...you name it!
Okay, you get the idea...I love the no-so-good for you foods! I struggle alot with eating the right stuff and I am paying for it in excess weight. So, while I love food, I just need to find the right combination for a healthy way to enjoy it. What foods do you love most? I really LOVE blueberries! At least they are very healthy!!
Oh, and happy Good Friday!

D is for...Deckin'
I guess I figured out a new word in my vocabulary I call deckin'. Kind of like sittin' on the deck. Same thing. I was deckin' today! Yay! My deck is not big or fancy but I love it. It is my peaceful spot, my sanctuary. Even my place to warm up in the summer when hubby is freezing me out with the air conditioner. The deck is where I can plan, think, pray, makes lists, read, sleep, listen to nature, write...yes, I do love it.

C is for...Change
I am thinking that this blog needs a change. I am also thinking that I need a hair color change. What else do I need to change? There are so many things I should change in my life, there are way too many to list. Sometimes change can be a very good thing. What changes do you need to make?

B is for...Busy!
Busy bee, busy beaver...whatever the phrase is, that is how I feel now days. I feel like I never have enough time in the day to get everything I need to or want to done. Ever feel that way? With working, writing and dealing with fibro, I really feel like I don't take time out for anything else. Which is why I am thankful for the warmer weather. I can now take the time to breathe sittin' out on the deck once again. It kind of make my busyness a little easier to deal with.

Yes, it's been since November since I have posted on here. Not sure what happened but here I am ready to go. Yesterday started this year's A-Z Blogger Challenge. I signed up but then blew it by not posting yesterday. So yesterday's A word is awkward because that is how I am feeling at this moment. Onto the B word!
